The most important intervention of this large project in Carpi is the construction of a road seam.
The seam consists of portions of draining flooring composed of GRESTONE type Grès masses (made by @grestone_by_saxagres), these are placed in a progressively more spaced way specially designed to let grass grow between the joints and spaces until it joins with the park.
For the Via Leopardi street, it is proposed to join the edges of the “29th Maggio” and “Navigatore” parks by conceiving the area as if it were a single green area interrupted by an internal driveway used mainly for pedestrian and cycle lanes.
The material proposed for this portion of sidewalks between the parks is dry-laid stoneware with spacers to ensure more permeable areas and progressive transitions to green areas. The central part of the road axis will be built with drainbeton-type drainage concrete.
